Chairman Wu Fulin Meets with IMF Deputy Managing Director Li Bo

On December 8, Wu Fulin, Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of China, met with IMF Deputy Managing Director Li Bo to exchange views on the global economic and financial situation, climate finance, sovereign debt of African countries and other issues. The two sides agreed to deepen exchanges and cooperation on exploring potential green and low-carbon cooperation modes to help promote sustainable development across the world. Meanwhile, the two sides aim to leverage their respective strengths, improve information and experience sharing, and join hands in helping developing countries in Africa build capacity to promote sustainable debt and better realize socio-economic development through sustainable development.

Zhang Wencai, Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of China, Abebe Selassie, IMF African Department Director and other responsible persons of relevant departments from both sides attended the meeting.
