On October 17, Wu Fulin, Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of China, met with Denis Sassou Nguesso, President of the Republic of the Congo on the occasion of the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF). The two sides exchanged views on deepening economic and trade exchanges between China and Congo and promoting high-quality development of Belt and Road cooperation, and looked forward to taking the BRF as an opportunity to further strengthen communication, tap new growth opportunities based on consolidating existing cooperation achievements, so as to help push the China-Congo comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to a higher level.
Congolese Minister of Spatial Planning, Infrastructure and Road Maintenance, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister of Planning, Statistics and Regional Integration, Minister of International Cooperation and Ambassador of the Republic of the Congo to China, as well as heads of relevant departments of the Export-Import Bank of China attended the meeting.
