On October 16, Zhang Wencai, Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of China, met with Mohamed Abbas Helmy Hashem, Minister of Civil Aviation of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The two sides exchanged views on deepening bilateral pragmatic cooperation, promoting the progress of potential projects, and agreed to further strengthen communication and cooperation, proactively explore multiple investment and financing modes built on current cooperation. Regarding the potential key projects, the Bank is ready to fully leverage its role as a policy bank to provide a batch of comprehensive financial services including loan and investment while proactively working with multilateral and bilateral financial institutions to explore opportunities such as consortium loan and co-financing, so as to better facilitate the infrastructure construction in Egyptian civil aviation fields and promote the development of the aviation industry.
