On July 13, Zhang Wencai, Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of China, met with Sri Lankan Secretary to the Treasury K.M. Mahinda Siriwardana. The two sides exchanged views on Sri Lanka’s economic situation as well as bilateral friendship and cooperation. They agreed to strengthen communication and promote bilateral and multilateral cooperation to tackle relevant issues, including debt treatment, so as to create conditions for future pragmatic cooperation and make contributions to the economic recovery and sustainable development of Sri Lanka.
