Vice President Zhang Wencai Attends the 2023 United Nations Country Team Annual Retreat

On May 23, Zhang Wencai, Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of China, attended the 2023 United Nations Country Team Annual Retreat upon invitation, and took part in the panel discussion themed “Development Priorities for China: Domestically and Abroad & Opportunities for UN Engagement”. He introduced China Eximbank’s experience and practices in supporting international economic cooperation and development assistance, as well as promoting the Belt and Road Initiative, the Global Development Initiative and UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and shared insights on how to give full play to UN agencies' role in promoting sustainable socioeconomic growth of developing countries.
