The International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation held its first annual meeting and the International Conference on Sustainability Disclosure from 1 March to 3 March 2023 in Tokyo, Japan. As a Trustee of the IFRS Foundation, Zhang Wencai, Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of China, attended the meetings and participated in relevant discussions. During the stay there, he met with Kazuhiko Amakawa, Deputy Governor of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and Seung-ju Baek, Deputy Dean of the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) respectively, for in-depth exchanges on international development cooperation, climate finance and other global issues. All parties agreed on strengthening green finance cooperation, exploring third-party market cooperation, and enhancing joint research, capacity building to contribute to global and regional socioeconomic development.
