Located in the Davao region of Mindanao Island in the southern Philippines, the Samal Island-Davao City bridge project is designed to build a cross-sea bridge with a total length of 3.86 kilometers, connecting Davao City and Samal Island across the Pakiputan Strait. The project is well received locally as a long cherished dream coming true. After completion, it will improve local transportation infrastructure, enhance traffic efficiency, revitalize local economy and create new jobs, thus improving people’s livelihood and promoting coordinated economic and social development.
