The 2nd China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai on 5 November. President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech entitled “Openness and Cooperation for a Shared Future”. A number of foreign heads of state or government, including French President Emmanuel Macron, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic also addressed the opening ceremony. 

　　China Eximbank Chairman Hu Xiaolian attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd CIIE.  

　　China Eximbank, dedicated to supporting China’s foreign trade, investment and international economic cooperation, is an active participant of the 2nd CIIE. It set up one-stop comprehensive service centers in both of the north and south entrance hall at the expo to provide advisory services for corporate clients and participants from around the globe. Meanwhile, through various on-site promotion such as image advertising and brochure distribution, China Eximbank made its ideas and practices for facilitating import and export and promoting greater opening-up in the new era better known to the world. 

　　After the opening ceremony, Chairman Hu Xiaolian paid a visit to  the Bank’s comprehensive service centers. She met with the Bank staff at the centers to learn more about their work details, and encouraged them to work even harder to learn more about the needs of clients through in-depth researches, and fully showcase the image of the Bank’s professionals.  

　　In addition, Chairman Hu Xiaolian visited some exhibitors of equipment manufacturing, listened to the briefings of China National Machinery Industry Corporation Ltd (Sinomach), Orient International (Holding) Co., Ltd and several other companies at the expo.  

　　Over the years, China Eximbank has given full play to its strengths in financial services and taken active initiatives to enhance connectivity between China and the world and promote win-win cooperation.
