On July 24-25, 2007, China Eximbank hosted together with Chinese enterprises the Symposium on Financing and Project Cooperation in Africa, at which Mr. Li Ruogu, Chairman& President of the Bank, delivered a keynote speech. Relevant government departments, industry associations and companies investing in Africa attended the symposium. By this June, the total value of loans to Africa approved and signed by China Eximbank has topped over RMB 100 billion while the outstanding stood at RMB 50 billion, accounting for 20% of the total business volume of the Bank. |
