On June 17th, 2007, China Eximbank opened its 10th domestic business branch in Chongqing Municipality. Chongqing Municipal Mayor Wang Hongju and China Exmibank President Li Ruogu both attended the unveiling ceremony. At the inauguration ceremony, China Eximbank and the Chongqing Municipal Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement on supporting Chongqign City in its efforts of going global and conducting wider international economic cooperation in such fields as trade, capital and technology. In addition, China Eximbank also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zongsheng Industrial Group and a master agreement on trading of financial derivative products with Chongqing Metro Company. The signing of the aforementioned agreements marks a new starting point of further cooperation between China Eximbank and Chongqing Municipality, demonstrating China Eximabank’s strong will and practical measures taken to support Chongqing’s economic development through policy financing facilities. |
