On June 9th, 2007, China Eximbank opened its Representative Office in St. Petersburg. Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi and Russian Vice Premier Александр Дмитриевич ЖУКОВ attended the opening ceremony of the office. Mr. Li Ruogu, Chairman & President of China Eximbank, and Mrs. Nadezhda A. Savinskaya, Head of St.Petersburg Main Territorial Branch of the Bank of Russia, spoke at the ceremony. Representatives and officials from relevant ministries, financial and business communities of the two countries and international economic organizations as well as foreign diplomats to St. Petersburg, attended the ceremony.
